Improving Quality of Service for Cell-Edge Users in D2D-Relay Networks

Abstract In this paper, we build a D2D-relay communications model where the D2D user is selected as relay to forward data for users at edge of networks. We aim maximizing achievable rates cell-edge users, resource allocation problem formulated and an iterative power algorithm proposed. derive optimal closed-form expressions by Lagrange dual method. Simulation results show that our communication scheme can achieve greater spectral efficiency than traditional cellular-relay scheme.
